Research On Planting Method Of Ridge Broadcast Sowing, Drilling Of Youyan 7 Which Is Effective

This test began in September 2003 at Xingnong Village of Qiyanqiao Town, Xixiu District of Anshun City. During the test in 2003-2004, rapeseed Youyan 7, was selected to plant experimentally in different planting method of broadcast sowing, drilling or growing seeding for transplant. Another three assistant experiments were arranged:A. Research on different rate of seeding and different seedtime; B. Comparison of production conditions of direct seeding of different breed (combined); C. Plant demonstration of high yield rapeseed of broadcast sowing. As a result, yield of per unit area of broadcast sowing rapeseed amounted 162.2 kg/667m~2, yield of per unit area of drill sowing was 155.1 kg/667m~2, yield of per unit area of transplant seeding was 81.5 kg/667m~2 more than that of broadcast sowing, 88.6 kg/667m~2 more than that of drilling.People put in less manpower and capital in direct seeding like broadcast sowing and drilling than transplantation. It can lighten farmer's burden. According to the test, in broadcast sowing, material put in amount to RMB182.86 yuan/667m~2, 23.44 yuan less than transplantation (206.3 yuan). In drilling, material put in amount to RMB176.66yuan/667m , 29.64 yuan less than transplantation. In addition, broadcast sowing needs 9.2 manpower/667m~2, amount to RMB168 yuan/667m~2 ( including ox labor), RMB192 yuan/667m~2 less than transplantation (21 manpower/667m~2, amount to RMB360 yuan/667m~2). In drilling, manpower needed is 10.1, amount to RMB181.5 yuan/667m~2 (including ox labor), 178.5 yuan/667m~2 less than transplantation. And each manpower's daily highest working efficient reaches 24.47 yuan in broadcast sowing, and drilling 21.00 yuan. Yet in transplantation only 19.2 yuan. Rapeseed plants of direct seeding ( broadcast sowing and drilling) do not grow very well, and its ramification, effective silique and seed number of effective silique are less than plants of transplantation. But its density is more than 30000 stems/ 667m~2, yield of it also reaches 155 kg/667m~2. According to the test, the ideal density is 30000-50000 stems/667m~2. Commodity quality difference between direct seeding and transplantation is not significant. Only the oil content of direct seeding is slightly higher. Through the test we find that when direct seeding, we'd better use high grade breed of stable character. Best seedtime is 2-5 days after rain and after the harvest day of former crops. We'd better cover the seed slightly and pay attention to field management.
