The Genetic Diversity And Adaptation To Water Of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata In Jiangyou

Aconitum carmichaeli Debx belong to the Aconitum genus, which is classified in the family Ranunculaceae. As a side root of A. carmichaeli, Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata is a precious Chinese medicine located in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province. It has been planted for more than 1,300 years according to current printing papers, which plays essential part in saving dying lives and has become a raw and processed material in medical industry from traditional pill-taking prescription with its continuously widening of clinical application.In the present paper, Genetic diversity of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata and 9 wild populations of A. carmichaeli in Sichuan were investigated by using inter-simple sequence repeats(ISSR)markers. Of the 63 primers, 8 produced highly reproducible ISSR bands. These primers were carried out on 10 populations sampled from Qingchuan, Pingwu and Jiulong Countys, Jiangyou and Dujiangyan Citys, E'mei and Wawu Mountains.Higher genetic diversity of one cultivar and nine wild populations of A. carmichaeli was revealed, 98 discernable DNA fragments were with 68(69.39 %) being polymorphic. Observed number of alleles (Na), effective number of alleles (Ne), Nei's gene diversity (H) and Shannon's information index (I) was 1.6939, 1.3715, 0.2308 and 0.3530, respectively.
