Aiming at three basic link-infection sources, the dissemination path, susceptible animal, the main purpose of disinfection is to exterminate the infection sources. In the intensive pig farms, though sometimes the infection sources do not result in the plague, yet if they can not be disinfected and the environment can be not decontaminated in time, the causes in the environment will lead to assemble more and more, to the certain degree, they will cause the plague fad. Therefore, the disinfection is a key to the epidemic prevention work of the vet of the intensive swine production, and is one of the important measures of the prevention and the extermination against pigs infectious disease.The key technique and the mistake in medicine disinfectant measures in the intensive pig farms were analyzed in this study. Meaningwhile, the right selection and usage of disinfector, disinfectant measure and the mechanism of interaction between the common disinfector and the pathogenic bacterium were also discussed in this study.In this study, an experiment last 3months to investigate the effects of the new disinfection procedure and normal method of disinfection on epidemic prevention was done. The results showed that, Compared with control group with the normal method of disinfection, the trial group with the new disinfection procedure significantly reduced mortality(2.75% VS 4.53%, P<0.05), and extremely significantly reduced morbidity (7.71% VS 13.2%,P<0.01) in lactation, and in growing phase, both mortality and morbidity extremely significantly reduced morbidity (P<0.01). While, the birth weight, weaning weight and growing weight were significantly improved(P<0.05). During the lactation and growing phase, the cost on each pig for treating illness was also significantly reduced(P<0.05) .For the control group, the cost on each pig for treating illness was about 0.95 -1.00 Yuan both in lactation and in growing phase, while, for the trial group, the cost decreased from 0.967 to 0.817 in lactation and decreased from 0.876 to 0.973 Yuan in growing phase, which means the new disinfection procedure had greater economic benefits. The conclusion proved that scientific disinfectant measures is a one of keys to improve production performance and economic benefits in intensive swine farms...
