In the nursery of Chifeng city forestry science institute, the drought resistance and the relation between every physiological index and drought resistance of 9 shrubs were analyzed and appraised through measuring in nursery and basin planting experiment, which offer theoretic basis for selecting proper plants and improving ecological environment of desert region. The results of experiment were as following. (1)It can be seen through analyzing for water loose curves and its whole process of 9 plants, individual dehydration amount difference and the dehydration amount difference among plants almost have the same ebb and flow trend, the former shield the latter in statistical embodiment to great extent, so, the peak value of significance move to the time when individual dehydration amount difference was very little. (2)Plant's transpiration rate diurnal changing range was big when soil water was abundance, while the diurnal changing range was very little when plant was wilting. So, plant's wilting can be determined through transpiration rate diurnal changing range. (3)Plant's water retention got increase with strengthening of drought menace. Plant's drought resistance can be better embodied under drought condition; the plants with high drought resistance have strong dynamic adapting ability. (4)According to the drought resistance being reflected by wilting humidity, 9 plants can be divided 4 types from strong to weak in drought resistance: â…  type includes Atraphaxis bracteata A. Los., Caragana microphylla Lam., Elaeagnus angustifolia L., its wilting humidity range from 2.65 to 3.40.â…¡ type includes Hedysarum Laeve Maxim. and Tamarix hohenackeri Bge., their wilting humidity are 3.75 and 4.11 respectively.â…¢ type includes Tamarix leptostachys Bge.and Tamarix austromongolica Naka., their wilting humidity are 4.87and 5.40 respectively. â…£ type includes Hippophae rhamnodides L. and Lycium barbarum L., their wilting humidity are 5.92 and 6.25 respectively.
