Medlar is a kind of agricultural products with most local characteristic in Ningxia. In order to resolve the practical problems such as serious damage of Ningxia medlar storage pests, the biological habits and integrated control techniques of Plodia interpunctella HUbner are studied in this thesis through medlar storage pests investigation and control experiments. Some results are as follows:(1) The main kind of storage pests of medlar in ningxia is Plodia interpunctella HUbner. The invading time of Plodia interpunctella Hubner is the storage stage of medlar. There are 2.5 generations per year and the generation is superposed under natural condition in Ningxia. Imago invading is from the first ten days of June to the first ten days of September and the damage time of larva is from the middle ten days of June to the first ten days of October. The damage of Plodia interpunctella HUbner is related to the moisture of medlar dried fruit. The speed of larva development and the rate of fruit eating by moth are increased along with the increasing of moisture.(2) Chemical control technique of medlar storage pests is studied especially on the research of Aluminium Phosphide. The result shows that the minimal safety dose of Aluminium Phosphide is 0.2g. A kind of suffocating pesticide for medlar storage is developed in the meantime. It is safe, economic and effective for Ningxia medlar storage.(3) Physical control technique of medlar storage pests is studied primarily. 4 kinds of packing wrappers with different size for medlar are selected according to the wrapper resistance experiments to moth, moisture, and air. All these wrappers are suitable to the standards of safety, moth-resistance, and moisture proofing. They are economic and practical, not only improving the packing quality of medlar dry fruit but also preventing the pest damage.(4) Elementary biological control technique of Plodia interpunctella HUbner is studied. The result shows that Bracon hebetor Say is an ideal natural enemy to control the larva quantity of P. interpunctella because of the good abilities of hunting and autoeciousness. The developing period of Bracon hebetor is 15 to 23 days under 25 ℃ and occurs 8 to 10 generations per year. The average number of oviposition is 100 eggs per female and the hatch rate is 99.6%.
