Study On Physiological And Biochemical Characteristics In Zizania Gall Expanding Progress

Based on the relationship of sink and source, we studied the change of photosynthetic intensity in the growth and development process, the change of protective enzymes activity, the activities of enzymes related with carbohydrate transformation, and changes of endogenuous hormone's content in the Zizania Latifolia culm and gall in expanding stage. Materials adapted in this paper were double-season variety FengHongZao and single-season variety JiangShuJiao. The variety of physiology and biochemistry in Zizania Latifolia's expanding stage was studied. The results were shown as follow:1. The photosynthetic intensity of the normal Zizania Latifolia latifolia showed the first high peak at the first tillering stage, and descended later, there are no peak in the second tillering stage. The second photosynthetic peak of normal Zizania Latifolia appears at the expanding stage and rapidly descended after the gall was extirpated, the change of photosynthetic intensity in FengHongZao has the Same trend with JiangShuJiao except it were higher in the first tillering stage than JiangShuJiao, according with the growth strength of FengHongZao were higher than JiangShuJiao and which showed that the foundation of morphogenesis in Zizania Latifolia plant mainly established in the first tillering stage. The photosynthetic intensity of FengHong Zao were higher than JiangShuJiao in the gall expanding stage, which showed that JiangShuJiao, each culm were relatively weaker, had few nutrient accumulation than FengHongZao in middle sink and had strong ability to feedback the leaf's photosynthesis accumulation. The photosynthetic intensity of Unpregnant Zizania Latifolia were much stronger than Normal Zizania Latifolia, according with the fact that Unpregnant Zizania Latifolia were much stronger, which confirm ulteriorly that the foundation of morphogenesis in Zizania Latifolia plant were mainly established in the procreate prophase. The photosynthetic intensity of Unpregnant Zizania Latifolia were desended slowly after the first tillering stage, which showed the persistent accomulation of nutrient in tiller bring feedback depression on photosynthesis of the leaves.2.The activities of POD, PPO, PAL, CAT and SOD in the gall were very high when the gall begain expanding, but descended rapidly in the latter expanding process. Theactivity of protect enzymes in FengHongZao had the same descending trend with JiangShuJiao in the Zizania Latifolia gall expanding stage, but was more higher and descended faster. The activities of protect enzymes in the expanding gall descended much slower in the anaphase expanding stage than prophase. After descending in the anaphase expanding stage, the activity of POD ascended in metaphase and then descending again till the end of expanding. The activities of protect enzymes in the culm of maternal plant and culm tips of Unpregnant Zizania Latifolia were lower and changed little than which in gall, which showed from the enzymology view that the expanding of Zizania Latifolia gall was illness mechanism. The activities of protect enzymes except CAT in the gall were lower than which in the culm tips of Unpregnant Zizania Latifolia. The activity of CAT was much higher in the gall than the culm tips of Unpregnant WaterBamboo and culm of maternal plant during the whole expanding stage, which showed CAT might be the symbol enzyme of Zizania Latifolia gall's illness mechanism.3.The activity of AI and SS in the gall was much high and descended rapidly during expanding stage, which showed they are the primary enzymes in the transformation of sucrose in the Zizania Latifolia gall expanding stage. Based on the fact that the activity of AI were much higher in JiangShuJiao than FengHongZao but SS were much higher in FengHongZao than JiangShuJiao, the paper speculated the primary enzymes in the transformation of sucrose in the Zizania Latifolia gall in these two varieties were differ, and these two varieties represented two different style of sucrose transformation in Zizania Latifolia gall.
