Wild animals are the important components of the natural ecosystem, theprecious wealth which universe altogether has. The protection of the wild animalresources has the vital significance to humanity's survival development. Ourcountry is one of biodiversity richest countries in the world, containing the richwild animal resources. However, along with personnel abusing wild animals aswell as the economical development to the forest resources over developmentand utilization, seriously threatened and damaged the wild animals and itsenvironment. Therefore, the implemented measures of wild animals and itsnature protection area construction have the significant strategic sense not onlyto maintaining the national Ecological security, promoting the national economysustainable development, enhancing the international exchange and cooperation,but also to guarantee the long-term benefits of the Chinese nation. However, themanagement means of wild animals resource of our country is still at relativelybackward stage at present. Therefore, in order to promote the development ofwild animals protection, especially adapt the digital forestry construction request.This paper combines the modern computer technology and the geographicspatial technology, to establish the management information system of wildanimal resources, carrying on the scientific management to the wild animalresources. By it administrators promptly and accurately grasps the wild animalresources population and its spatial dynamic change rule, in order to provide theinformation service and the policy-making basis for scientific formulation of thewild animal protection and the management measure. According to the theory of the software engineering, this article first hascarried on the feasibility analysis to development of the managementinformation system of wild animal resource. In this foundation, uses theobject-oriented method to carry on the system design, and has determined thetechnical route to develop the wild animal resource management informationsystem in the .NET platform. Furthermore, the creating of special theme mapsabout the distribution of wild animals variety by applying of componenttechnology of Geography Information System and the combination of prosperitydata with spatial graph data were further studied well. This system is developed based on the step design of the software lifetime.The system has the advantage of wild animal resources investigation data inputand output, the inquiry and retrieval, the browsing demonstration, the statisticalanalysis, the report form output, as well as the spatial information inquiryanalysis, the thematic maps of the wild animal population distribution and so on.All of these effectively have solved the stored problem of mass data of theforestry, has realized the data exchange and sharing. Between each functionmodule of the systems is mutually independent, and has a higher maintainabilityand repetition. In addition, the system uses the component technology todevelop the spatial geographic application, reduce the cost of the development,and maintain the system independence. And, the system is based on theestablishment of .NET technology, may run on the other platforms. This systemin practice application, will provide modernized methods for the wild animalcontrol, and it will be prompt, accurately reflected the wild animal resourcesquantity and the population dynamic change situation, in order to provide thescience basis for formulation of the wild animal protection and the managementmeasure This article has carried on the discussion on informationizationconstruction of digital forestry of our country, and has conducted the researchon the .NET technology application in the digital forestry construction.
