The content takes the middle section of Tarim River as the research area. The application geostatistics method carries on the quantitative analysis to the spatial variability of soil salt of nature and artificial vegetation, the application mathematical statistics analysis to characteristic the soil salt and groundwater in the different vegetation group systems. Making an inquiry into the space variation of soil salt, researching on the characteristic of soil salt and groundwater in 10 vegetation formations and the building relations between the covering of vegetation formations and the characteristic of soil salt and groundwater in the middle section of Tarim River. The paper reflect to characteristic of soil salt and groundwater of different vegetation .The main conclusion of this paper are as follows:1.The soil salt date of the surface level and average comply to the normal logarithm distribution. The spatial variability of the surface level soil salt is range from 0m to 15000m. The spatial variability of the average soil salt is range from 0m to 18000m.2. The average soil salt date comply to the normal logarithm distribution in vegetation of nature and artificial, The spatial variability of the average soil salt is range from 0m to 18000m in vegetation of nature and artificial.3.The comparison and analysis on characteristic of soil (0-200cm) and the groundwater with 10 vegetation formation in the middle section of Tarim River. Result: It is the largest that soil salt of Form. Halostashys caspica (Bieb.) C.A.Mey, that soil pH of Form. Calligonum Kuerlese Z.M.Mao, that ought resisting of Form. Halimodendrum lolideneon, that enduring groundwater of Form. Kalidium foliatum(Pall.)Moq.4. The vegetation covering and soil salt have a comparatively ideal logarithm model in 5-10cm degree of soil, and the inverse model in 150-200cm degree of soil. 5.The vegetation covering and soil pH have a comparatively ideal cubic model in 30-50cm degree of soil, and the logarithm model of average pH in 0-200cm degree of soil.6.The influence of the vegetation covering and synthetic feature of soil and groundwater apply the main composition analysis. The vegetation covering and the first main composition (FAC1-1) have a comparatively ideal Quadratic model before Promax rotation. The vegetation covering and the third main composition (FAC3-1) have the ideal inverse model before Promax rotation. The vegetation covering and the fourth main composition (FAC4-2) have the comparatively ideal linear model after Promax rotation. The vegetation covering and the sixth main composition (FAC6-2) have the comparatively ideal inverse model after Promax rotation.
