Studies Of The Application Of Feeding Molasses On Dairy Cows

This dissertation,the application of feeding molasses on dairy cows,are including six aspects mentioned below:(1) The effect of feeding molasses on dairy cows' lactation ability;(2) The effect of molasses on milk quality;(3) The effect of molasses on DM intake;(4) The studies of appropriate molasses feeding quantity at typical domestic dairy cows farm;(5) The effect on dairy cows' body condition;(6) The studies of Molasses Meal.Though system trials carried on separate typical domestic dairy cows farms,the results acquired are as follows:Based on typical dairy cows' ration,the appropriate molasses adding quantity is 15% (DM). Feeding such ration,it is able to increase milk yield 0.5kg/d.h,as for high lactation cows,this volume reaches 1.7-2.3kg/d.h;It doesn't show significant difference on milk fat and milk protein rate,however,the yields of milk fat and protein have significant difference and the outputs raising 140g/d.h and 85g/d.h;The palatable taste of molasses can improve DM intake efficiently and the volume increases 1.45kg/d.h;Dairy cows' body condition and the ability of resisting stress are also well improved by feeding molasses ration.For molasses meal trial,the conclusions show that 50% molasses can well absorbed by corn cob meal in Molasses Meal,and mould inhibitor also required in this kind of product.
