8 crossbred castrated boars (landrace X Changmei) were choosed according to body weight (initial weight: 35+2 kg), and distributed to two Latin-square (4 X 4). The apprent digestible energy (ADE) of by-products .brewers dried grain, wheat bran, rice bran, sorghum distillers'grain, potato distillers dried, Wuliang distillers dried, wheat middling and rice hull were examined by total fecal collected method. Substibute 20-50% of by-products for the basal diet to formulate a group of gradient testing diets according to CF, NDF, ADF. Analyze the DM, ADF, NDF, CP, CF, EE, GE, ASH and calculate the NFE, SCHO of diets. Regression equations were establish between ADE and these parameters by software SPSS 10.0.The results showed that:(1) Fiber was the most important factor in prediecting the ADE of cereal and distillers dried supplement in pigs, meanwhile, NDF was the best one.(2) The most effective regression equations were: (l)DE(MJ/Kg)=16.200"-0.114"NDF(R2=0.874 RSD=0.602 P<0.01) (4)DE(MJ/Kg)=14.565-0.0995*NDF+0.02l9NDF(R2=0.887 RSD=0.633 P<0.01) (11 )DE(MJ/Kg)= 13.002" - 0.00548**NDF+0.134*SCHO- 0.307*GE(R2=0.966 RSD=0.535 P>0.01) (recommended) (13)DE(MJ/Kg)=13.36l"-0.0255"ADF-0.286*GE+0.119SCHO(R2=0.971 RSD=0.190 P<0.05) (recommended) (19)DE(MJ/Kg)=16.209"-0.052MADF+0.122SCHO-0.3l8GE-0.0755CP(R2=0.986 RSD=0.400 P<0.05) (recommended) (22)DE(MJ/Kg)=14.848"-0.0689ADF-0.281GE+0.181EE+0.0637CP+0.106SCHO(R2=0.994 RSD=0.321 P<0.05)(3) Those equations were fit for predicing the ADE of the same kind feeds. Classified establishing predicting regression of by-products was benefit for improving the predicting accuracy.
