XZ1 is the first winter wheat cultivator examined and approved in China Huanghe - Huaihe river irrigation district. The invention and popularization of XZl not only greatly improved the wheat study level in China , but also initiated a new method for enhancing Chinese wheat yield potentialities and indicated Chinese wheat breeding coming into a new period . It is estimated that the XZl and other cross breeding combinations will develop significantly in five years . The requirement of hybrid seeds will increase sharply in company with the popularization of XZl .As the reproduce capacity of wheat is poor, how to produce hybrid seeds economically is a urgent problem at present . Launching studies on the seed production techniques of hybrid wheat has profound realistic significance for improving application of hybrid wheat and enhancing hybrid wheat industrialization.In order to meet the requirement of market and industrialization of hybrid wheat, we studied the seed production techniques of hybrid wheat. Based on the study of dispose of row-ratio and dill-strip width, the application of exogenous hormones , and APAGE purity test of wheat seed, the results are as follows:1. The ration of cross seed set is closely related to the drill-strip width . Its relationship with row-ratio is not significant . As the female drill-strip width increases , the ratio of cross seed set was decreasing .2. When the female drill-strip width of XZl set in scope of 1.8 meters , the ratio of cross seed set doesn't increase significantly company with the increase of male drill-strip width, two tines of male parent can provide* enough pollen .3. The excellent combinations of row-ratio and drill-strip width are two lines of male parent with 6-9 tines of female parent in Guan Zhong, Shaanxi irrigation region .4. Reasonable using NAA and Sodium 5-nitro-guaiacolate can enhance the ratio of cross seed set in some extent . It is appropriate to spray NAA100-150g/ha in 5%ear presenting period, to spray sodium 5-nitro-guaiacolavte lOg/ha in heading stage to 5% ear presenting period.5. Improved the APAGE procedure and method of wheat seed purity test, tentatively mapped the gliadin finger print of XZl .using the above measures comprehensively not only can meet the needs of requirements of XZl hybrid seeds ,but also can found a fine base of XZl before its coming into industrialization system completely.
