In this experiment, calli were induced from strawberry anther with different genotypes and suspension cell lines were established. The factors . which influenced the maintainment and regeneration of suspension cell lines were studied. The main results are as follows:1. Different genotypes and plant growth regulators concentrations ratios significantly affected callus induction. Meanlike . sugar concentration and growth condition of the cultivars also affected the callus induction. Calli were gained from Ming-Xu, Changhong2, Mingjing and Honey.2. Two kinds of calli were got, when embrygenic callus was subcultured on the medium of MS-4 for a long time.The light yellow compact callus was transferred to the medium MS-2 with high concentration of 2, 4-D and (NH4)2SO4, So that the light yellow and loose callus type III were got .which can be turned into bright yellow , small granular shape embrygenic callus through further regulation.3.The growth of suspension cell lines was affected by sucrose . nitrogen nutrition , 2 , 4-D concenration - initial cell density and sub-cultured period Low level of 2, 4-D(0.1 ~1.0mg/L). 0.5ml(PCV)suspension cell/40ml medium and sub-cultured period of 7d were essential to maintion the suspension cell lines.4.The regeneration path of suspesion cell lines were studied .The regeneration plants of Mingxu were gained through the path of organ generation.The results showed that the gradual reducing the auxin concention and raising CTKs concention was effective to the regeneration of suspension cell in strawberry. F and A3 mediums with low NH/, added with KNO31000mg/L, had great effect on formation of compact callus.TDZ was more effective than BA on plant regeneration of suspension cell.Many embryos were also obtained in MingXu and ChangHong2, which couldn't changed into seedlings...
