Having experienced traditional management mode as timber management and present management mode as multi-plant-resource management, Chinese forestry is developing to a new management stage of forest ecosystem. A feasible design frame for management of forest ecosystem is proposed in this paper. Data were from Daling Forest Bureau. A great of basis work was done include that the ecological benefits of each forest types were estimated and valuded, the state of forest resources was analyzed statistically and the effects of each function-divid management was analyzed. The base and principal to manage forest ecosystem is to seek the optimal integral benefit of forest ecosystem on which function-divjd management carried out. The state of present forest is just result carried out for the greatest of timber harvest which will not only lead to unsustainable target of forestry. On the analyzed basis, a multi-target optimization strategic decision was proposed. In this optimization based on forest succession model and conservation measure, ecological benefits, social benefits and economic benefits were considered comprehensively, forests were divided public welfare forest?multifunction forest and commercial forest and the benefits of which were serve as feasible target. By adjusting the structure of forest resources, multi-target optimization strategic decision was carried out to effectively restore the composition and landscape of local climax forests, meanwhile the integral benefits of forest ecosystem were optized...
