| Eight typical varieties (strains) of Japonica rice grown in Heilongjiang Province were selected and field experiments were conducted under 4 cultivation conditions (2 kinds of Dressing methods and 2 kinds of Dressing methods ) at Northeast Agricultural University Xiang fang farm. Split plot design was used in field experiments. The inner discipline of yield components and panicle characteristics and the changes under different cultivate conditions were studied. The experiment was expected to provide high-yield rice breeding production. The results suggested that1.The rice variety suitable to high yield should have present spikelet or below, moderate secondary branch, high percentage of ripened grain and high grain weight per 1000 grain of the secondary branch.2.The structure of 10 tonnes rice output per ha was 350挆?00 spikelet per m2,120 grain per spikelet, the result ratio 85%, and 28 g per 1000 grain weight.3.1000-grain weight of rice has the character of entire spikelet.4.Under 33.3 cm distance between rows, 15 cm spacing inter-plant, i. e. the super thin planting, although grain number per panicle, percentage of ripened grain and 1000-grain weight were increased in the planting method of I plant per pit, the yield was less than the planting method of 2 plants per pit, because panicle number per plant was less.5 The ideal rice population was obtained and the percentage of ripened grain and1000-grain weight were increased by fertilizater application that heavy based dressing and light fertility for tillering and increasing fertility for booting and filling. This method of fertilizing can be used in the cold region in North China.
