Multiplestatistical analysis were employed in investigating the main factors which contributed to high yield and super quality.Diallet cross was designed to analysis general combining ability and specific combining ability of grain yield and grain protein yield, the feasibility of the integation of high yield and super quality thus was testified. The key points were Iistd below:I .. The correlation coefficents between grain yield and preanthesis dry matter or N accumulation were not significant. Grain protein yield and preanthesis dry matter or N accumulation had the similar results. The correlation coefficents between grain yield and postanthesis dry matter or N accumulation were significant, so were the grain protein yield and postanthesis dry matter or N accumulation. Grain yield and dry matter or N accumulated at maturity had the similar results, too. So were the grain protein yield and dry matter or N accumulated at maturity. The results metioned above indicated that postanthesis dry matter accumulation and N accunulation influenced the formation processes of grain yield and protein yield.2..The multiplestatistical analysis formula for grain yield is y27.8l5+0.791A2-0.412A-4.607Pro+2. 17N0, based upon indexes metioned above. The order influenced grain yield by these indexes wasA2>A>N0>Pro.The multiple statistical analysis formula for grain protein yield is y=2.894+0.075A2-0.047A-0.048G~+42.752No+42.7 IN 1-42.406N2, base upon indexes metioned above. The order influenced grain protein yield by these indexes was A2>A>G~>No>N1>N2. The indexes that influenced both grain yield and grain protein yield were A2, A and N0. And the order was A2>A>No.The multiplestatistical analysis formulas were testified by hybrids integrated high yield and super quality and the results also indicated that it was feasible to select hybrids with high yield and super quality by indexes A2.. A and N0.3' Genetic variations existed among inbreds and hybrids in combining ability of grain yieldand grain protein yield. Some inbreds (such as nongdal78) and hybrids (such as up Xnonydal78, Xi X340, CAX ji853)were high in combining ability of grain yieId and grainprotein yields. which indicated that seIection fOr hybrids with high grain yied and grain proteinyieId couId be prssilble among different inbreds. The correlation coefficents between specialcombining abliIties of grain yield and grain protein yield were singificant(r=0.6845). This alsoindicated that improvement of grain yield and grain protein yield was POssible among differentl1ybrids. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | corn (maize), grain yield, grain protein yield, multiplestatistical analysis, combining ability. | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
