In order to study the displacement for compound rockmass slope affected by groundwater over the time, according to the problem of the interaction between of soft rockmass and water is the nonlinear problems, to build the nonlinear dynamic equation of the compound rockmass slop affected by groundwater. The nonlinear dynamic equation is linearized, time and displacement function of unknown constants is obtained by solving the ordinary differential equations. pulsation shift can be learned from the time and displacement function. The function similarly displays that the slope periodically slipped. To have a further analysis of the function, when slope glided down its displacement periodically varied, which slope from instability to a temporary state of equilibrium to the next slide is a cycle. Slope system in the unstable equilibrium position near the critical point of degradation to overcome the perturbation effects, the time of stability is prolonged. The displacement formulas for rockmass slope in the process of progressive failure are derived. To calculate the Lyapunov index, one mark of the slope's chaos is given.
