Wind power is not only renewable but also without pollution. Development of the variable-speed constant-frequency(VSCF) AC exited wind generation system is an important subject in the wind power generation projects. The rotor winding is excited by the dual-PWM converters. Different control schemes are used for the grid-side and the rotor-side, which are linked by DC capacitance. Because the DC segment voltage of the inverter is fluctuated, it is harmful for the system and demand the capacity of capacitance of DC side is bigger. The unified direct power control strategy with feedback is proposed in this paper. Simulations in MATLAB confirm the fluctuation is decreased and smaller capacitor can be adopted with the same fluctuation voltage allowed.
