Variable pitch part carrying screw, the leading basis component of mechanical equipment, is widely used in the automatic filling, labeling, and so on. It is known as the'throat'of the entire equipment and producing line. Whether the structure is reasonable, the screw has a direct impact on the product quality, work efficiency, overall layout and the level of automation. Study of the variable pitch screw has important theoretical and practical significance, because its structure is complex, one is lacking of proper design, producing theory and practice.The screw, studied in this paper, was used for delivering irregular bottle is made of soft plastic. Designing of the screw is very difficult, because the bottle not only be completed from disorder to orderly array in the process, but also to be finished series of movement of vertical forward-horizontal rotation-lying.Based on the theoretical and experimental research, a new design method of the irregular bottle variable pitch delivery screw has been putted forward, and a reasonable helix equation was obtained. The axial section geometry of the variable pitch screw spiral was constructed, and 3-Dimensional solid was modeled by the advanced design method.In order to meet the complex movement requirements of delivery in the process of irregular bottle, the motion simulation on the screw was analyzed by simulation software ADAMS. Through the analysis, the acceleration, velocity and displacement curve of the delivery gravity center were obtained, and the stressed of the irregular bottle was analyzed. The stability of the irregular bottle was met in the delivery process on position and morphological change.In this paper, the irregular bottle delivery screw designed by a foreign company was measured by the self-designed measurement. The screw couldn't be used in the production, because serious clamping stagnation phenomenon was encountered in the delivery process. The problems of the screw were found out through spiral curve fitting and motion simulation analysis. It has been putted forward to improved method.In the end, the processing method of the screw was studied and the NC code was obtained, which provide a theoretical basis for the future processing on the screw.
