Research On Four-Corner Seal Forming Shoulder

Forming shoulder is widely used in packaging engineering as a key part of forming, filling and sealing packaging machine, which has the direct influence on the form, the size and the goods quality of packaging.This article mainly to solve the formation problem of Four-Corner Seal bagging. First of all, the circular and the rectangular shape forming shoulder, using in the side seal, were designed , based on the side seal unique feature of Four -Corner Seal bagging. And the mathematical model of its bending curve, shoulder-curved- surface and fringe curve were inferred. Moreover, according to the welding process in practice, the difference between the practice production and the fundamental research was founded, and the offset bending curve was suggested to be the theoretical basis for preparing the rough parts to make the shouders. Furthermore, the mathematical model of offset bending curve was given. In addition, the model of corner seal circular forming shoulder was established by Pro/Engineer3.0 software to confirm the accuracy of its mathematical model.Secondly, in order to deal with the deflection of film, which was ironed edge firstly, the corner seal circular forming shoulder was slotted according to the streamline theory. And mathematical model of the slot place streamline was given. Moreover, the production process was briefly discussed.Finally, the bending curve two-dimensional parametric design was realized, using the second development to AutoCAD2006 by Visual Basic6.0, to satisfy the need of enterprise and raise the production efficiency.This article is mainly about the application research of forming shoulder. The corresponding structure of forming shoulder was designed according to the unique feature of Four -Corner Seal bagging, and the production process was improved. Which are concrete application in reality of shoulder's theory.
