In recent years, China's rapid economic development has made the Road Traffic demands ever-increasing. High speed, heavy load, the large proportion of overloaded vehicles: all of this increase the damage of cement concrete pavement. Practice shows that the insufficient anti-erosion capacity of Semi-rigid base material accelerated road damage is one of the most important factors. Domestic and international investigation shows that there is an obvious existence of pavement's breakdown which is caused by the lack of the base course's anti-erosion. Therefore, carrying out research on anti-erosion properties of base course material and wash off rule has great significance. This will effectively extend the service life of the road.In this paper, the author analysis the mechanism of the voids beneath pavement slabs and it's influence factors. Through the lab test on the it, the effect of the hydraulic pressure on practice pavement has been attained. From the study of the Cement Concrete Slab's anti-erosion property and the literature on this subjects, a more reasonable anti-erosion test device was developed. The device was used on the study of our typical semi-rigid base material's anti-erosion performance. Some test results was analyzed in theory and a number of anti-erosion indexes were proposed. The results of this study set a necessary foundation for the future in-depth study of the anti-erosion performance of the base course material.
