There are limitations of prescription in criterion for the dynamic stability test for asphalt mixture. Some pavements come into rutting when satisfied the prescription in criterion, but the others don't come into rutting even can't satisfied the prescription in criterion. So that researching with the reasonable number and testing temperature have important practical significance.In this article, the tested pavement temperature development by depth is obtained and the actual pavement temperature of different depth is calculated. The shearing stress which is produced by temperature, load or both the two reasons is calculated for changed modulus and unchanged modulus with temperature. The rule of shearing strength development by temperature is obtained through the analyse of the shearing strength of asphalt mixture of different temperature. The shearing strength of different aggregate for different depth is calculated. The critical pavement temperature of shear failure for different depth is calculated through the analyse of the relationship between the shearing stress and shearing strength for different depth under the road surface. The dynamic stability of different aggregate asphalt mixture are tested. The rule of dynamic stability development by the highest pavement temperature is obtained through the analyse of the dynamic stability for different aggregate asphalt mixture. The dynamic stability of different aggregate asphalt mixture for critical temperature of damage is calculated. The reasonable numble of dynamic stability is obtained.
