As global competition becomes more fiercely, product innovative design becomes the critical technology for company to win market, earn profit and strive for survive and development space. The key technologies of rapid product innovative design have been researched and a model for product innovative design process based on the theory of technology evolution of TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) are proposed. The innovative design of hydrodynamic reciprocating seal and its structural model' rationality evaluation is performed using this model. An operable innovative design method for engineer is present. The main contents of the dissertation are as following:(1) The advanced innovative design theories are assessed systematically and a model for innovative design process based on the theory of technology evolution of TRIZ and FEA is proposed in this dissertation. This model makes the generation of product innovative ideas and the evaluation of the innovative scenario become a possible process, and makes the rapid product innovative design become possible.(2) Generation method and process of the innovative conceptual solution based on the theory of technology evolution of TRIZ is proposed. The evolution laws of the product core technology are analyzed and the method for generating innovative ideas that using the evolution lines and the evolution potential plot is present, which provides a detail realizable solution for the improvement and innovative design of the products.(3) The evolutional S-curve of hydraulic reciprocating seal is drawn and the nowadays evolutional position of hydraulic reciprocating seal and its future development directions are confirmed. Possible improving direction of hydraulic reciprocating seal design is proposed, and three improved design structural models are refined as well.(4) Conceptual design evaluation model based on FEA is proposed and conceptual design evaluation scenario of hydraulic reciprocating seal is constructed based on ANSYS as well.
