The development of supersonic cruise missile (SCM) weapon system puts forward increasing requirements of missile integration defense system. An efficacious SCM defense system must be established. In order to test the technology characteristics of the system and cooperate with defense tactical training, all characteristics of SCM should be known, and a target missile system which can simulate flight characteristics of SCM must be built. According to the flight characteristics of the background missile and the situation of our country, the design demands and overall design project of supersonic cruise target missile (SCTM) are given out in the paper, the flight ballistic trajectory project of SCTM is confirmed, the trajectory design and simulation model are established, and the standard trajectory characteristics and maneuver trajectory characteristics of SCTM are analyzed.Firstly, the courses of launch and flight are studied, and their movement equations are got. The overall design scheme and flight ballistic trajectory project of SCTM are studied out, which establish a foundation for trajectory design and analysis.Secondly, the influences of the slide-rail style and length on off-slide-rail characteristics are studied, the influences of the thrust of the roll booster on the velocity of the switch point are analyzed, and the influences of the burning rate of solid rocket-ramjet engine propellant and aerodynamic resistance characteristics on the cruise velocity, and each appropriate design values are given by simulation.Thirdly, according to the requirement of maneuverability and over loading, the longitudinal over loading of mobile trajectory are analyzed by simulation. The influences of mass warp, aerodynamic resistance warp and solid rocket-ramjet engine thrust warp on the flight velocity are analyzed.Finally, the math model of the target missile flight on project trajectory is built. Based on simulation of low altitude cruise standard trajectory and middle altitude cruise standard trajectory, climb varying and snake trajectory are simulated, and each characteristics parameters are provided. A software of the target missile trajectory design and calculation is finished. Trajectory simulation indicates that the overall design project is reasonable and feasible, which meets the design demand.Trajectory design and analysis are important parts of the missile overall design. The paper provides effective reference warranties for overall design and analysis, control system study and trajectory optimizing design.
