Asphalt Pavement Repair Pit Mixture Heating Technology And Microwave Technology

In addition,we compare them with the function experimental results of the usual hot stirring and mixing road material. At the same time,as the number of used rubber tires become increased gradually nowadays,the paper probe into preliminary studies on the role of microwave rubber in modifying the properties of the asphalt pavement materials.Some conclusions can be drown from a number of indoor experiments: the mechanical properties of aggregate have been enhanced obviously after the action of microwave,the change range in the indexes of various kinds of the performances of asphalt is very small,the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixture have been strengthened within certain range. The physical and mechanical properties of the modified asphalt after adding the rubber powder heated by the microwave are much better than those of original asphalt,ordinary rubber modified asphalt and corresponding mixtures of asphalt.Finally,through the research and analysis on the formation mechanism of the pit slot,the repairing techniques and the construction processes of the pit slot repair,the paper puts forward a"quick fix pits microwave technology",which is a brand new concept in the field. Besides,six evaluation indexes for asphalt pavement repair are raised,including bonding,density,water stability,low temperature crack resistance,high temperature stability and slip resistance,which provides scientific guide to the check and accept of the patch quality.
