Architectural acoustic environment is an important component for the environment of architectural physics. With the urbanization process at China's extraordinary rate, changes in the building sound environment of cities could be seen everywhere. This mainly reflected in several aspects:the rapid development of urban transport, makes the city traffic noise become the most important sources of noise which seriously interfere people's lives increasingly;higher and higher prices on the city land forces boiler room, pump room, heat exchangers and other equipment into the station building,a source of noise within the building can be a disaster;a large number of high-rise buildings and the demand for improving energy efficiency and requirements of building, light, heavy use of insulation materials, make the wall light.According to the quality of the law of the wall of noise, heavy wall compared to the light wall significantly reduces the amount of noise.Mutual superposition of multiple factors makes the noise problem more prominent, increasingly causing serious conflicts and disputes.Under such circumstances, how to improve the building sound environment and the living comfort is on the mission before us for research.Returning to heavy wall is not possible, which gives us a new topic for new light wall study. This paper studies the following aspects:First, through literature review, this thesis introduces the basic theory of noise, including noise insulation theory, noise performance evaluation methods, noise insulation theory of the single-layer wall, and demonstrates that the frequency characteristics of the current single-layer light wall are basically in line with the homogeneous single-layer wall noise insulation theory, namely the law of the quality. In addition, the theory of double-wall noise insulation is also introduced.Second, the thesis introduces the theory of testing the wall, mainly the introduction of noise and reverberation test.Laboratory tests on the basic principles of noise on the requirements of the laboratory;explanation of noise tests to test the reasons for the reverberation time.Third, through questionnaires and in-situ testing, the wall in Xi'an noise survey was carried out and analyzed.Xi'an city light wall is now a much wider application, but there is 80%of the light wall's acoustic properties can not meet the normal working people's,life and study. To find a light wall of noise properties is the reason for non-performing and to make use of composite wall structure to solve the acoustic properties of the light wall is the ways and means of non-performing.Furthermore,at present, the theoretical circle of the air layer thickness and the amount of noise-related laws has different or even contradictory views. In this paper, the experimental method to study the thickness of the air layer at a different frequency, with the wall of the correlation between the amounts of noise. We found:two-tier structure of the value of the additional sound insulation thickness in the air increases and the trend was increasing, but the increasing trend is getting smaller.Compared to several different opinions home and abroad,we conclude our results are quite similar to those in the laboratory experiments with the Swedish University of Technology(Chalmers Technical College).Last but not least, through experimental tests, using a variety of material combinations, and in experiments using a number of new materials, constructed with different Combinations of light and sound insulation properties of the wall to the test and analysis,we finally developed a low-cost new type of light wall with a small thickness (to reduce the space) and a large amount of noise insulation(to meet the new standards required by the regulation).
