Reflection that Semi-rigid asphalt pavement is early one of the main types of damage in China's highway asphalt pavement.It destroies integrity and continuity of pavement structure.It also affects asphalt pavement serivice life and safety.At present, New asphalt pavement is taken some measures to prevent reflection in base and surface ,But its effect relatively large regional differences.Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat is a new kind of geosynthetic materials that prevents reflection. Experimental study shows that effect is well.However,No one has yet to made systematic study on Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat. Therefore, this paper used the finite element the method to carry on the preliminary discussion about mechanism of Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat.First of all,this paper base on linear elastic fracture mechanics,and take finite element software,and set up two-Dimension model to simulate pavement structure.,and anasys the change of stress intensity factor on the crack tip and structural parameter effects the stress intensity factor after seting Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat between base and surface in vehicle load and temperature load. The results show that no matter what vehicle load and temperature load , stress intensity factor KΙand KΙΙpresent decreases after setting Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat. Therefore, fiberglass-polyester paving mat can effectively prevent the expansion of reflection crack, and extend the life span of asphalt pavement.Secondly, To consider stress-reduction and shrinkage stress on the impact of cracks, formula is modification that Jiangying Jun proposed about the pre-cracking spacing,and combine with the Chongqing area and climate characteristics,propose the corresponding pre-cracking spacing and depth ,and so on . Theory instruction is provided for later period pre-cracking construction.Thirdly, Through the interior shearing test and and reflective cracking simulation test , evaluate separately interlayer bonding and prevent crack reflection ability of Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat .The results show that it has a good ability of reflective crack prevention ,but seting Fiberglass-Polyester Paving Mat lead to a slight decrease of layer shearing stress,but still be able to meet the use requirements.Finally,combination of research results , Depends on the Chongqing outer ring highway to experiment the road section, propose construction technique.
