The current mechanical properties of asphalt mixture tests has existence large systematic errors,poor reproducibility, in order to effectively address these problems, need to use advanced technological to obtain the actual distribution of space of asphalt mixture, in order to improve the efficiency of numerical simulation, should from the start the structure of asphalt mixture to analyse,to find a "homogeneous material"。According to asphalt mortar theory:asphalt mixture is a dispersed system with the structure of multi-level space mesh cementing.It is a rough dispersed system which considers coarse aggregate as the dispersed phase dispersed in dispersion medium of asphalt mortar.Also,asphalt mortar is a small dispersed system which considers fine aggregate as the dispersed phase dispersed in dispersion medium of asphalt mortar.The asphalt mortar is a micro-dispersed system which considers powder filler as the dispersed phase dispersed in dispersion medium of high consistency asphalt. In this paper, fine aggregate and asphalt composed of asphalt mortar and asphalt and slag cement composed of asphalt mortar were researched.First of all, choose three different grading to molde asphalt cement and mortar sample, according to the same powder-binder ratio to determine the asphalt cement in asphalt cement and mortar sample, and density to determine the basis of aggregate content, and propose several key factors in the course of forming asphalt cement and mortar mold.Secondly, through three different graded, seven different nominal diameter of the largest asphalt cement and mortar specimen under the conditions of a certain temperature, the splitting strength test, compressive strength tests, direct tensile test and static compression resilient modulus test,and proposed arious asphalt cement samples splitting strength test data, the compressive strength test data, a direct tensile test data and static resilient modulus test data approach, come to a laws that variety of asphalt cement mechanical properties of samples with the gradation and asphalt content, and put forward the "homogeneous asphalt cement and mortar " concept,and obtain "homogeneous asphalt cement" the Sieve Size Limits is 0.15mm. And the size limits was preliminary verified with static modulus of resilience,and discussed the reasons of the predictive value does not fully match the measured result。Finally, Using discrete element method simulation of asphalt cement under uniaxial compression tests,and compared with the measured results,and also provide a new idea to analysis the properties of mixture.
