Most of the work of topology optimization focused on the static loading case but less attention has been paid to the dynamic characteristic of structures.In this thesis,topology optimization of structures subjected to periodic loading was studied.A efficient modified Lanzcos algorithm was proposed to solve large scale eigenvalue problem involved in optimization problem.The relation between the frequency of periodic loading and dynamic structural compliance was obtained.Furthermore,the robust optimization of the dynamic performance was also studied. Basing on the convex model of uncertain parameters,we developed a robust optimization approach.Then according to different initial conditions,different minimum dynamic compliance structures which are robust to the uncertainty of frequency were investigated with the same robust condition.In order to overcome the complexity of harmonic response,the fixed force transmitted structure was strategy proposed.Some numerical examples demonstrate the efficiency of this method.
