Research Of Laser System For Automatic Measurment Of Stored Coal Amount In Open Coal Yard

Measuring the amount of stored coal in the firepower plants is one of the most important parts of production and management of the Plants,relates to the calculation of the consumed coal and economic barometer in the fuel management of steam power plant.In this paper,in order to apply it to the measurement of coal storage volume in open stockyard,We have analysed stereo vision system and stated the optical triangulation.The fixed-point laser scanning system is applied in this paper,which can meet the need of ensuring the account of stored coal.The author first states the designing idea,components of hardware,working principal,and fulfillment of the functions. Then,analysing the arithmetic of interpolation.Finally,used the theory mentioned above,the practical system "Coal Area Laser Scanning Measurement System" was developed and the applying software "Surface Display And Capacity Calculation" was programmed.
