Research And Development Of Virtual Flexible Manufacturing Simulation System

FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) is an advanced technology developing rapidly in manufacturing industry. By adopting the advanced technology, an enterprise can accelerate production process, decrease production cost, improve products' quality, provide manufacture flexibility, enhance enterprise's adaptability to market and make much more economic benefit.In order to accelerate the development of FMS in our country and provide user a model of FMS for studying and researching, this article researched the virtual flexible manufacturing simulation system. According to the basic form and working principle of FMS, using computer simulation technology this article developed a set of virtual flexible manufacturing simulation system with representative structure and layout. This article did the following research :1. researched into the method of virtual flexible manufacturing simulation system modeling. Described the model of FMS Disperse Event System. Analyzed the simulation tactics and the simulation process basing on Disperse Event System.2. Discussed the Object-Oriented simulation modeling. Clarified the method of realizing the Object-Oriented simulation program and simulation modeling process. Set up an Object-Oriented frame of FMS simulation modeling.3. Discussed the FMS producing scheduling model, rule and system basing on the scheduling rule. Analyzed the theory of neural network scheduling method. Clarified the algorithm of solving scheduling problem with neural network and the using of it in FMS scheduling.4. Researched into the modeling and storage of the equipments'three-dimensional model with Solidworks and the method of realizing animation simulation with OpenGL .Taking the above research as foundation , developed a virtual flexible manufacturing simulation system software with Visual C++。The system can show the working process of FMS according to user's machining requirement and scheduling rule with simulation form. It also can make user understand the working principle and process of FMS directly and deeply.
