Impacted by multitudinous factors, such as tire load, types of tire structure and tire tread, contact pressure between the tire and the pavement is uneven distribution. Besides, contact area is really ellipse or rectangle, and not circular. The data of contact pressure used in this paper is from Tongji University bridge test laboratory. Using the actual contact pressure to analyze the pavement mechanical response is more significant. Firstly, multilayered elastic system procedure APBI is used to examine the accuracy of the pavement model established in ANSYS, and the load model used in this paper is obtained with the control target of pavement deflection. Secondly, asphalt pavement mechanical response is computed and analyzed by means of finite element software ANSYS under the load model. Then, the effects of tire tread, pressures, loads, pavement structure compositions and material parameters are discussed. In addition, the differences between pavement mechanical response in non-uniform load and the uniform load are evaluated. Then, with two different loads such as actual loads and the rectangular uniform loads, the mechanical response in the semi-rigid base with or without stress absorption layer is analyzed. Finally, the structure analysis of the draining water bituminous pavement is carried on.
