Saline soil in inshore region is soft soil. Saline soil has the problem of dilatation, collapsibility, corrosive and softened by moisture gained, which covered on the surface of saline soil in inshore. To satisfy the requirement of strength and deformation of road embankment of highway, Saline soil in inshore should be solidified in the stage of construction. The solidified methods of soil include stabilization by compaction, reinforcement, and chemical stabilization, and the reinforcement is a major means. Saline soil in inshore is solidified with anticorrosive wheat straw, which can increase the strength, integral quality and stability of saline soil. It is significant to solidified techniques for saline soil innovation, also providing theoretical support and technical guidance to the project of highway embankment construction by enriching the theory of reinforcement saline soil and development of new wheat straw reinforced technology.Wheat Straw reinforced the saline soil inshore is still in the pilot phase of the study, there is no reliable experience can be used as guidance, the system is an urgent need for scientific research. The main thesis of the study and the results are as follows:(1) Wheat straw to the vertical split for a quarter of the arc, so that to play a better the role on tensile strength. It could be reinforced the tensile strength"uniform soil"to avoid the weak interface by mixed randomly.(2) Through a large number of tests to determine the wheat straw reinforced earth reinforced the optimal conditions, and then design of Taguchi orthogonal combination of the pilot program which based on the principle of optimization for experimental. The best conditions of should be confirmed as follows:Wheat straw length: 10 mm; added rate: 0.25 %; the shape of wheat straw: a quarter of the arc; Mixing lime rate: 8 %. (3) Contrast tests show: so as to the optimal conditions for wheat straw reinforced the reinforced soil can increase the water stability, the compressive strength and the ability to resist deformation.(4) The effect of Wheat Straw reinforced the saline soil inshore has been studied and the influence of different adding proportion of wheat straw also has been analysed. It provides the theoretical support to studying the mechanical strength properties of wheat straw and construction technology.
