There are many ways for the medium level waste water treatment that have been suggested and studied. According to the present technology condition, the most practicable and feasible way is the geographical disposal. The hydraulically created fracture treatment is one of the ways of the geographical disposal. But the effect of slurry mixture in the course of the hydraulically created fracture treatment of the medium level radioactive waste water relates directly to the density of the waste water slurry (The designed value is 1.38-1.48g/cm3), and may bring about effects on the safety aspect of the project on the treatment of the medium level radioactive waste water to some extent. The quantity of the phase separation water left in stratum with high pressure, after closing well, and waiting for coagulating after releasing the circumfluence water is an important factor of affecting the geographical environment safety. The technical status of the project on the hydraulically created fracture treatment is described and the status of the treatment system along with the existing problems is analyzed in detail. Especially, a series of problems are investigated, resulting from that the slurry made in the course of the project application does not meet the design requirement, which consequently leads to the quantity of the phase separation water is larger than the designed value. Improvement measures for the technical system are presented and implemented in practice. The effectiveness of these measures is evaluated.
