Energy conservation and environment protection were the development topic in 21th. It was a new stage of human civilization development to take continuable development. Householding metering was one of the motivities to building energy saving. It was an important method to change heating energy conservation to energy efficiency behavior. And also it hastened the development of the heat source, the regulation of the heating system. Management of the heat source was changed from extensive management to scientific and quantitive management. As the difference between our country and foreign countries, it was unreasonable to apply the foreign technology in China entirely. Standard should be made according to our conditions. The author focused on the effect of heat transfer between neighboring walls on indoor heating in household metering system. Firstly, the author expounded the problems that usually occurred in household metering system and put forward some measures to solve them. Secondly, the author selected a typical household metering system to build a model, and then, computed the quantity of heat transfer by simulating. Following six conditions were chose to analysis: (1) 4 units were all heating in intermediate floor; (2) without heating in room 1 and 3 and with heating in room 2 and 4 in intermediate floor without adjusting heat diffusion amount; (3) Same as (2) with adjusting heat diffusion amount to achieve the required indoor temperature; (4) all rooms but room 3 was supplied heat in the intermediate floor; (5) no heat supplies in room 1 and 3 and with heat supplies in room 2 and 4 in the top floor without adjusting heat diffusion amount and (6) all rooms but room 3 provide heat in the top floor. The thermal comfort of the indoor environment in these conditions was analysised by PMV/PPD. Conclusion would be given based on the comparison of the measure data of two experimental residential areas and the simulated result. We will study the topic mentioned above and present the conclusion and provide suggestions on how to solve problems from the heat supply system with individual measurement. Hopefully it helps not only to save energy and reduce consumption but also to satisfy the users and to promote utilization of household metering system.
