Along with the development of modern construction and lighting engineering, lighting engineering is not only a lamp-house, but some important way of improving our living and working environment. The traditional way of lighting design has not been able to fulfill the different requirements of lighting effect in different scene. In order to saving energy and construct a famous lighting environment, the intelligent lighting design which combined with computer technology and modern communication technology has a bight future and it also accords with the concept of "green-lighting".This report will study the design technique of intelligent lighting engineering use the lighting system in gymnasium as a template. The relative techniques, such as the basic lighting engineering, the lighting standard and the design methodology, will be discussed. Considering with glaring effect, then design the lighting for gymnasium.Firstly, through analysis the correlation between every relative factor of lighting, and after analysis the fixed position and observation direction of observer in the gymnasium, a meshwork model and a mathematics model are constructed and the design technique of intelligent lighting based on algebra algorithm is designed.Secondly, dealing with the samples of gymnasium, and according to the MATLAB simulation, this design technique not only fulfills the saving energy requirement, but also reduces many fussy engineering calculations.Lastly, this report concludes the design principle of lighting, common lamp-houses and their layout in the gymnasium, suggests how to choose suitable lamp-house and the layout during designing lighting, and briefly introduces some common used calculation software, discusses some feasible way of saving energy and prospects the future job at the same time.
