In the past, the mainly purpose of constructing a bridge is people always try their best to reducing the initial costs, whereas neglecting the future costs. Now, numerical bridges have recently appeared poor performance, even many projects failed much earlier than their expected service life. The situation has already bring unbearable economic and social burden on the citizens. Aimed at this situation, an important idea—LCCA(Life-Cycle Cost Analysis)is introduced in this paper, in order to optimize the performance and the costs. Based on some international researches, used there experience, the author construct the more systemic life-cycle cost classification framework according to the situation of China, and then comprehensive investigate the crucial technology about the life-cycle cost analysis. The mail work in this thesis is described as follows:1,The thesis has studied the life-cycle cost framework and build the economic model of bridge. The bridge lifetime can be divided into three periods including construction period, working period and disposal period. Every cost's meaning and the calculation model is discussed respectively.2,The thesis has studied the life-cycle cost of the bridge's structure. Some important bridge component costs which related with the calculation model are discussed in order to providing gist for life-cycle cost analysis.3,The thesis has programmed the bridge life-cycle cost computational procedure. According to the theory, the thesis build up the cost analysis procedure and illustrated by a bridge, the cost analysis were disserted in the aspects of economics and management.
