Lots of driving set or system convert linear movement into rotary movement with convertible set, such as chain, steel wire, conveyer belt, etc. The system is large, efficiency is low, accuracy is low because of convertible set.Linear electric machine is one of the new electric machine studying and developing at home and abroad in recent years. Linear electric machine refers to linear motor, it is a kind of driving set converting linear movement to rotary movement directly without any convertible set. Now the study of linear motor testing is little. Some refer to the testing method of rotary electric machine. Some design the testing methods and facilities for special system. There is no standard testing method at present. Therefore it is important to study the testing method and facilities of linear electric machine.Now some study static performance, some study dynamic performance about linear electric machine testing. Such as high power linear induction electric machine of traffic system, Canada and Japan go through three stages, modal testing, sample testing and testing line. The modal testing is a very important method for linear electric machine. The modal testing facilities include roller facilities and linear facilities. Germany is studying track traffic system of double field linear induction electric machine and established testing line of new linear electric machine of track traffic system, sample testing line and modal testing facilities. Japanese Kyushu Tengjin lab established roller rotary testing facilities of single field linear induction electric machine for urban track traffic study. Now Zhejiang University, State Defense Scientific University and North Jiaotong University are studying linear induction electric machine testing facilities of track traffic system.The mainly work in this paper is to study static testing system of linear induction electric machine. It is a automatic measurement system of electric machine performance based on pc. This system which controlled by pc can measure static thrust, vertical force, power factor, input power etc. It can offer accuracy testing data for designer to research high power linear induction electric machine and offer enough testing data used for controlling linear electric machine. It makes for better designing linear induction electric machine and controlling system.
