With the rapid development of Chinese high speed railway, it is very urgent to use high performance train control system with high safety, high reliability and high efficiency to secure train operation safety. At present, the CTCS3 technical specifications and key techniques suitable for dedicated passenger line are under research. CTCS3 simulation and testing platform can provide a platform for system research, design scheme comparison, equipment test and evaluations.As a subsystem of the CTCS3 simulation and testing platform, the Train Drive & Movement Platform (TDMP) based on HLA was designed to receive the driver's manipulation information, to display the information from the on-board equipment. The HLA based train drive &Movement Platform consist of three modules, namely, Train Control Simulator, Driver Machine Interface, three dimensional visualization Simulator.The High Level Architecture (HLA) is general purpose architecture for distributed computer simulation systems. It can perform the interoperability, reuse and scalability. This paper describes the design of HLA distributed architecture to support the train control movement platform, which is interactive, interoperable, and collaborative. The establishment of this platform is innovative application of advanced simulation technology in simulation and testing platform, it is great significance for research and development of train control system.
