With the improvement of ecological-consciousness,greening of residential district is more and more important. It is the high time that we had to study the greening mode of residential districts in cold city-Huhhot.The research objects are greening plants of residential districts in Huhhot, studying and evaluation synthetic from ecological, landscape and economical etc. From the survey about the landscape area of three residential districts in Huhhot,we found that pavement area occupied plant area, the rate of greenery was high, but plant area was low..Basing on the investigation and analysis about tree species and structure of residential districts in Huhhot, the results showed that tree species were less, and the landscape were worse.Basing on the investigation of tree specie, we have selected the tree species which had high frequency and big quantity, researching green quantity and balance of carbon and oxygen. We have draw a conclusion that green quantity is less in per greenland. It is hard to balance of carbon and oxygen. So we suggest using enough dimensional space to plant trees, shrubs and grass prorated.Qiaohua residential district was best in plants arrangement, its visual evaluation value was 0.84.Studying greening cost in two respects: planting investment and conservation investment. In Renhe residential district, worse plant conservation influenced direct plants growth..I have set up evaluation Indicators'system on base of above respects, the result showed that Qiaohua Comprehensive evaluation value was the highest in using AHP method. Finally,we raised greening model of per 1000 m2 of residential district greenland in Huhhot.
