Chamber adjacent rock stability appraisal and support design is the hot spot and the difficulty in geotechnical engineering research, the domestic and foreign scholars although have systematically conducted research on theory and practice, and have obtained many high-level achievement, but the research is not systematic in view of bedded rock chamber. In view of the universally existed bedded rock in Western China and following the technical route as" theory research -value simulation - project application", the article systematically studies the destabilization mechanics and stability appraisal theory of bedded rock chamber and obtains the following conclusion and the understanding:1. According to destruction mechanism of bedded rock and the relationship between the chamber axis and the attitude of bed, divides the bedded rock chamber into four kinds of destruction pattern such as bend - fall ,curve - bend, frontier wall bend, ledger wall blows up, and proposes adjacent rock stability criterion of each destruction pattern, and has analyzed the influence factor.2. In low-angle dip rock, when chamber axis apeaks tend of rock stratum, can adopt limit equilibrium method to calculating stability coefficient of rock-fall destruction of crown and side wall.To entirety stability of chamber,can use elastic-plasticity calculation theory to get the displacement formula of adjacent rock, and judge the adjacent rock stability according to norm. When chamber axis parallels to tend of rock stratum,can adopt block equilibrium method to appraise stability of block cut by high- developed structural surface.3. using FLAC two-dimensional analysis program,calculates the displacement of adjacent rock of horizontal, inclined and vertical bedded rock chamber and appraises the adjacent rock stability according to displacement criterion. Value simulation is confirmed right, at the same time, basically confirmes the correction of chamber destruction pattern like the roof to break off, side wall to curve.4. On basis of the analysis to suspension roof support of chamber, explores the theory of suspension roof support in bedded rock chamber. Aiming at rock-fall destruction of crown and side wall of bedded rock chamber, elaborates the computational method of the ordinary anchor rod ,the pre-stressed anchor rod, thickness of spray-up and the layout number of the anchor rod.By carriying out the system research on the destabilization mechanics and stability appraisal theory of bedded rock chamber, the research has significant theoretical meaning, practical meaning and wide application prospect for solving engineering problems, guiding engineering practice and developing chamber supporting theory.
