The flow in the solid rocket motor is two-phase flow. Consequently, in order to understand the capabilities of the solid rocket motor, it is necessary to analyze and study two-phase flow. The effect is calculated importantly between two-phase flow and the solid rocket motor in the paper.A solid rocket motor numerical simulation is calculated with the fixed tracing model and the stochastic tracing model in the paper, the conclusions from the calculation are as follows: the conclusion of the fixed tracing will appear "particle free zone", and the stochastic tracing model can shorten the area.A nozzle of the solid rocket motor numerical simulation is calculated with standard k-εmodel,Realizablek-εmodel and RNGk-εmodel, and find that not only the variation flux of particles, diameter of particles and also the qualification at the entrance of the nozzle of two-phase flow, it indicates the standard k-εmodel is the most applicable in this nozzle two phases calculation, Realizablek-εmodel is only the most applicable in this nozzle gas phase calculation.A nozzle numerical simulation is calculated with the particles tracing model and the Eulerian model, comparing the results to find that the multiphase model will obtain better result than the particles tracing model. Because the multiphase model, the coupling between solid phases of gas phase is tighter; and this model can predict the continuous distributing of solid phase's velocity and concentration.
