In recent years, with the economic development and large bridges' building in our country, the anchor foundation stability of suspension bridge during the course of construction and running has become the problem of the extensive concern of the public. Recently, the extreme equilibrium method and the interference energy method are mostly used to analysis the stability of anchor foundation. However, these methods are still not mature at solving the problem related with nonlinear finite element.The stability analytical method of the anchor foundation, which located under a underground diaphragm wall structure of suspension bridge, was further studied in the article. Building on the three-dimensional finite element model according to ADINA, the nonlinear finite element problem was solved. The sensitive of the anchor building to sliding, turning forces and other parameters to the building's stability influence was also emphasized. According to the results, the safety monitor model was established. Based on the gray nerve network, dynamic analysis to the anchor was made. Combined the calculation model with field measurement, the analysis, prediction and control of anchor foundation stability were carried out. In the end, the stability of the anchor foundation was evaluated.Based on the north anchor foundation of Runyang Bridge, some beneficial results were obtained concerning the stability of Anchor foundation. The finite element method shows great advantage to analysis the nonline problem concerning the anchor foundation stability, which can raise the efficiency and calculation accuracy greatly. The safety monitor model, based on the output of three-dimension finte element simulation, is reasonable. The dynamic prediction analyse based on the monitor data ensured the stability and safety of the anchor foundation. As a result, the stability against sliding and overturning forces of the north anchor foundation during the course of construction and running, satisfied the request of the stability design.
