The article established the temperature field and the thermal stress field finite element computation model, and then by using the ANSYS software, the temperature and thermal stress field of rotor of turbine was calculated. Based on the theory of metal fatigue, the mutual relationship of hardness and life wastage was analyzed, and the fatigue wastage and the creep wastage of rotor were calculated considering the influence of hardness. The remnant life was also analyzed and calculated referencing the shape of initial crack. The models and methods of steam turbine rotor life prediction have been founded, according to the influence of material aging, creep-fatigue interaction, and crack.
