Induction heating is a electric transition device consisted of electronic components. It makes nonlinear load and produces lots of harmonic which infects the power factors seriously. This paper focuses on the harm of harmonic of induction heating. The formulae to calculate parameters of main circuit are derived, the equivalent circuit of the system and the equivalent model of the load established. This paper uses FFT to analyze the harmonic of equivalent model of induction heating. Simulation model are established, and the harmonic analysis of the model has been simulated by MATLAB. In this paper we can find the disciplinarian of harmonics changing. Then, it lay theories foundation to the harmonic reduction that responds to induction heating equipments for us.
