The wuhan steel corp.third steel mill had a set bridge type derrick nearby the iron waters skimmer machine, drawing up to increase a set bridge crane of the same tonnage because of producing demand, the top of the track beam of the factory's A-B stride will have two set bridges crane to work and apply load in the meantime, increase the burden on the A-B across.Whether the track beam have enough loading ability or not in this kind of case become the key whether the same tonnage bridge crane can be increased. The limited unit method, random tired analysis etc. method that is adopted to analyse and calculate the track beam's loading abilitys. For the sake of acquiring the the stress condition of the whole track beam, finding out the weak link and provide a basis for the follow-up fatigue life analysis, the adoption plank unit carries on a 3D limited unit calculation to the track beam. With this foundation,"shell to solid submodel " technique adopting to dangerous part where the stress is high and intensive, refining and analysing, finding out the stress distribution.Combine the actual work of the track beam, from the wheel-pressure spectrum statistic data, drawing up the random stress spectrum of the track beam dangerous place.Provide a basis for the weld seam fatigue life analysis.Calculating to the fatigue life of the track beam by modified Miner rule can get the fatigue life of the weld seam. The structure optimization design of the orbit girder under the sistuation with safe and dependable movement and raise its performance price ratio of the orbit girder.Reducing the whole quality of orbit girder will profit to ease the steel structure's weight of the factory.
