Along with the fast development of semiconductor industry, with the appearance of the new power electron apparatus and microprocessor and the development of the control theory on the Alternating Current(AC) motor, the technology of Variable-frequency speed regulating system based on DSP.The research on the digital Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) motor speed variation system is proposed in this paper, which uses Digital Signal Processor(DSP) TMS320LF2407A special for digital motor control of TI corporation as the control center and uses Intelligent Power Module(IPM) PM25RSB120 as apparatus of the inverter as well as the Sine Pulse Width Modulation(SPWM) and the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM) as the control algorithm.This thesis introduces the base theory and correlative information of AC variable frequency speed-adjusting ,the basic theory of Sine Pulse Width Modulation(SPWM) and Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM) is expatiated and achieving means of the SPWM and the SVPWM using DSP is given. It presents control strategies of V/F Speed-adjusting system and builds mathematics models of all control modules. With the MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation models of asynchronous motor, SPWM and SVPWM V/F system etc, with its module library are established. According to the PWM control algorithm and experiment parameters, the simulation models are tested and corrected in time until the models are optimized.The hardware circuit of the V/F controlling system is designed including the main circuit and the power circuit, etc. The software flow of the SPWM and the SVPWM controlling system based on TMS320LF2407A DSP are also presented, the software implements Sine Pulse Width Modulation, Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation using assembly language of TMS320LF2407A and achieves the purpose of variable- frequency adjusting-speed for asynchronous motor.
