The reseach of this thesis is one of the projects of Reseach and Application on the Low Power Wirless Access Seris Devices and Reseach and Application on the Key Techologies of Mobile Ad hoc Network supported by High Technology Reseach and Development Program of Jiangsu province(No BG2003004). The thesis is mainly made reseach on the application of Bluetooth technology, which includes Management Information System (MIS) based on Bluetooth technology and dynamic network formation protocol. Firstly, the reseach on Vehicle Managemeng System based on Bluetooth technology is introduced in detail. Then a scheme of pre-constructing network formation protocols based on Bluetooth ad hoc network is proposed. And finally some problems of the application of Ad hoc network in vehicle management are discussed.The thesis is divided into three parts, each of which is expounded respectively.The first part consists of chapter 1 and 2, which mainly introduces the background of project and Bluetooth technology. At first, some knowledge about Bluetooth technology and development are introduced. And then background of the project and concrete application based on Bluetooth are given. At last development surroundings of bluelab of CSR company related to the research of the project are explained and analyzed.The second part is the core of this thesis, which is composed of chapter 3, 4, and 5. The reseach and implementation of vehicle management system based on Bluetooth technology are set forth in detail. Based on the research of existing management constrolling system, a design scheme of vehicle management constrolling system is put forward, which can monitor vehicles and drivers anywhere anytime by cell network, ad hoc, and local area network. And software and hardware design and implementation of the system are given. The vehicle part is the emphasis, which includes Bluetooth intelligent vehicle card and multimode vehicle hand-free sets.Chapter 6 is the last part of the thesis, which focuses emphasis on dynamic wireless network formation protocol. Bluetooth ad hoc network formation technology of this part aims at application of vehicle group. On the base of analysis of existing network formation, a scheme of a new network formation protocol is proposed, and finally application of vehicle management system is discussed.
