Water is the lifelines of our national economy and the basis security of people's lives. Water resource is the strategic and economic resources of the economic development. The research on the regional water supply measurement technology play great operation significance for water supply measurement, and does good to establishing rational water rate mechanism and boosting the optimizing configuration of water resource and the positive circle of aquaculture. Basing on the flat area river network, the regional water supply measurement in typical plain river network was mainly researched in this thesis.Presently, the water supply measurement for industry and irrigation area has been well researched, while the research on regional plain river network is still scarce. The research on regional water supply measurement technology in the plain river network was brought forward.Jianhu County was taken for an example to analyzing the representativeness of monitor section with the chosen representative rivers, and the principles of the monitor section's disposing were put forward. By studying a great amount of firsthand references, many water measurements were analyzed and contrasted through the following aspects: measurement principle, method evaluation, typical equipment, demands of the administration, etc. And different feasible proposal were advanced according the particular case of the experimental area. Rational communication modes and network structures were adopted. The IMS solution of water supply measurement was put forward in order to collecting, transferring and processing the measuring data.
