Firstly, the paper makes researches on the electromagnetic scheme design of the hydro-generators, works out the flow chart of the electromagnetic scheme design of the hydro-generators, proposes the method of the electromagnetic scheme design of the hydro-generators based on Case-Based Reasoning, states the extraction and expression of similar electromagnetic examples, and gives out the search arithmetic of similar electromagnetic schemes, which calculates out the similarity between examples according to the 7 decision-making parameters.According to the characteristics of the hydro-generator scheme design, the integration of CBR and RBR is also studied. Taking advantage of these two reasoning technologies, it overcomes the negative influence on the reasoning rate of the system, which is affected by the huge and rich knowledge base, and improves the working efficiency and quality of the system.The structure scheme design is another important part of the bid design system of the large-scale hydro-generators.
