The bamboo resource in china is quite abundant, the growth area in our country is 378.9 ten thousand hectares, its yield occupy the first in the world. Therefore making use of our country' bamboo material is a way of delaying inconsistency of lumber supply and need. The bamboo resource has characteristic of once forestation succeed and cut year by year, namely using forever. And bamboo is in favor of keeping water and soil, maintenance zoology environment, its society economy benefit is high. Bamboo has many choiceness performances such as the high intention, the great rigidity, and good tenacity and so on. Therefore bamboo is ideal original material of exploitative interior decoration.This paper is order to research how bamboo is imported to interior decoration design, how bamboo create value, rational, living room and theory, method of bamboo application in interior space decoration design concerned.This task sets about mechanical performance and aesthetic performance of bamboo material, researches systemically application of bamboo in interior decoration design. The main research results are as follows: based on abroad investigation and relational reference, I summarized interior design and bamboo development actuality, trend and foreground, put forwards the study direction of paper. I discussed systemically the relationship of bamboo materials, bamboo culture and interior design, in order to offer theory basic and ways for reference of bamboo applied in interior decoration design; studied "green design" conception of bamboo and analyzed it from four aspects: interior designer's station and function, bamboo's "green design" conception, the trend of "green design" in the future, the application of "green design" conception of bamboo, to supply new means and ideas for bamboo decoration design. Consulted other similar principles and means of interior decoration design, summed up design principles and means of bamboo in interior decoration design for people majored in correlative specialty. Studied bamboo's application methods, examples and disposing technologies in interior design and discussed and exampled it from four aspects: the bamboo by way of structure element, the bamboo with intent fashion, the bamboo plywood used on the architecture material surface and bamboo material's application, in order to supply means for reference and design ideas of bamboo applied in interior decoration design.
